I joined the practice in 2002. Having spent some years in hospital paediatrics before starting my training in general practice, I particularly enjoy looking after the health care needs of children and young people.  I also have an interest in dermatology having completed a postgraduate diploma in 2007.  When I am not working at the practice, I do some work for the Primary Care Trust related to paediatrics and I enjoy teaching medical students at Bristol University. A wide range of interests outside of work help me to remain motivated and enthusiastic.

After working as a GP partner in semi-rural North Somerset for the last 17 years, I am delighted to be joining Whiteladies Medical Group .  I am interested in the whole spectrum of General Practice, but particularly in continuity of care, and getting to know people well over a long period of time. I have been involved in trying to improve various patient services, for example GP Out of Hours services, and services for mental health and addiction.  I have been on many PCT committees, and enjoy team-building, modernising and changing!  When there's time I also enjoy being outdoors, particularly on the sea.
